Parking Lot C-9 Expansion

Work has begun on a paved parking area at the southeast corner of Chalmers Street and Fifth street.  The lot will serve as an expansion to parking lot C-9.  The parking lot surface will be the first parking lot built on the UIUC Campus with a permeable pavement.  This new design will allow rain water to pass through the pavement and eliminate runoff to sewers.  The lot is expected to be completed by mid-December, 2011.
